2. ROLE OVERVIEW

In this role you will have direct responsibility for data systems and their use throughout the business, giving the Company the data, tools and direction needed to meet its ambitious growth targets. You will work closely with the marketing team and the wider business to ensure that our systems and our data provide the strongest possible foundation for efficient, sustainable and effective marketing communications.

3. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and execute the Group Salesforce CRM strategy
  • Work with the marketing team and internal business users to improve data collection, data transfers, analysis and reporting
  • Translate unstructured requests into actionable user stories
  • Work across teams and departments to plan, design, build, test, implement and monitor processes and system improvements
  • Cleanse, migrate and optimise client/prospect database to ensure the usability of data and compliance with data law
  • Configure and manage Salesforce (user setup, profiles and roles, record types, objects, workflows, process builder, validation rules, Lightning customisations, data access and security)
  • Design and deliver Salesforce training programmes to ensure user onboarding and adoption
  • Set up and optimise Salesforce third party integrations
  • Provide first-line Salesforce support across the Group for internal bug and functional requests
  • Define ideal client/prospect data and database solutions and processes and map our progress towards them in the short, medium and long-term
  • Analyse data to highlight details of past performance or trends
  • Develop appropriate data KPIs which are aligned to overall business objectives

4. PROFILE

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to collect, organise and analyse large data sets with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Detailed and process oriented, with the ability to understand business processes and design solutions that answer business requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar role managing a Salesforce Sales Cloud instance (process builder, workflows, validation rules, Lightning customisations, report building, data security, data clean-up, Data Loader)
  • Proficiency in Excel – confident user of pivot tables, vlookups and formulas
  • Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
