Security, Privacy and Compliance

The evolving Access Intelligence portfolio includes Isentia, the market-leading media monitoring, intelligence and insights solution provider; Pulsar, an advanced social listening and audience intelligence platform; Vuelio, a leading media intelligence platform with monitoring, insight, engagement and evaluation tools; and ResponseSource, the network that connects media and influencers to the resources they need.

In September 2021, Access Intelligence acquired Isentia, a media intelligence and award-winning insights company headquartered in Sydney, Australia, and are working towards a common level of security & compliance across the portfolio.

Our products, practices, and policies are built with security, privacy, and compliance as core design principles. We recognise that this is also important to our users and have created this Trust Centre to be transparent about how we secure their data.

ISO 27001

The Access Intelligence Group has achieved the ISO/IEC 27001 certification.

Cfa have audited Access Intelligence to UKAS requirements of ISO 27001

The standard forms the basis for the effective management of confidential information and the application of information security controls. It recognises an ongoing commitment to review systems and suppliers, identify risks, assess implications and put controls in place for data security. This includes auditing all systems, information assets, operational processes, legal and regulatory requirements, and an ongoing training programme to strengthen the organisation’s expertise in risk management and data security.

ISO 27001 recognises the Group’s exceptional standards in data management and security. This benefits all clients who can rely on the company’s ability to store and process sensitive data in a secure way underpinned by robust systems, increased business resilience, and improved management processes.

UK Cyber Essentials

Cyber Essentials Plus - Certified

Cyber Essentials is a UK government-driven initiative to promote high standards in cyber security practices across all industries and sectors.

Developed as part of the UK’s National Cyber Security Programme, the UK Government worked with the Information Assurance for Small and Medium Enterprises (IASME) consortium and the Information Security Forum (ISF), to provide a clear statement of the basic controls that all organisations should implement to mitigate the risk from common internet-based threats, within the context of the Government’s 10 Steps to Cyber Security.

Data Protection

GDPR Compliance

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a data protection law that regulates the processing of personal data in the geographic areas where the law abides.

The “UK GDPR” and “EU GDPR” are very similar, and Access Intelligence regularly updates its policies and procedures in line with global privacy developments. We use the term “GDPR” to cover both the UK and EU laws.

Access Intelligence is committed to data ethics. We have defined practices to ensure the way data is collected and used is trustworthy and ethical. For greater transparency, we have created the following compliance pages to describe our stance on GDPR and to outline our obligations:
